I have been working with computers since I was very young, as a result of mandatory encouragement from my Dad. I started with very simple things made to get kids started and interested in coding (things like Scratch and Robomind). I’ve since graduated to more complicated programming languages and projects. I’m glad to get work experience at Level 12 this early in life, and I’m very excited to see where I am heading into and out of college.
My role in the company encompasses a lot and not very much at the same time. I work three days a week, and I am mainly here to learn and help out where I can. I help with small programming projects, usually ones that are not very time-sensitive. I also help with a wide range of things that are easy to do to help save the developers’ time, including things like QA.
My family consists of my mom and dad, two brothers, and a sister (plus two dogs). I love them all and am thankful to God for the relative unity of our family. It is something I take for granted far too often.
I’d rather not have a geek badge. I don’t really think of myself as a geek. I feel like a ‘geek badge’ would be more of a punishment than a reward.

I don’t know if I still qualify as a child, but what I miss most about being younger is not caring as much about what people thought of me.
I like working at Level 12 because the people here are great, my dad is the boss, and because I make money.
I don’t like, um, nothing? It’s pretty much the ideal job. I guess the stress of other people depending on me is a little hard but you get that with any job and I’m sure I’ll adjust eventually (this being my first job)
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35 ESV)
“because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9 ESV)
