The Challenge

At the time Red E App reached out to us they had already decided to rebuild and re-architect their platform so that it would be more extensible and more scalable and essentially more bulletproof for the types of customers they were attracting. REA had a lot of potential risk if the project was not developed correctly. Risk in not being able to scale up to capture the sales opportunities before them, and risk of affecting the performance of clients already on the platform

REA was looking for:

  • Agile expertise to guide their development
  • Experienced Python developers to build the product

They had already started the restructuring process on their own, but were not moving with the the speed or with the expertise they needed.

The Solution

Our solution was to provide REA with:

  • CTO as a Service
  • Python software engineers

At the highest level, REA needed a CTO consultant. Our Chief Executive Developer, Randy Syring, started working with their team on a weekly basis training on the Agile Manifesto and how to manage two week sprints. This gave clarity to the developers on what they needed to execute on next, and kept the team in alignment with the real needs of the product users.

While the majority of our work in this project was CTO consultation, we also provided developers that worked alongside their existing team to seamlessly move their project forward.
